This policy applies to anyone using a system operated or hosted by iSKEL Tech Solutions Private Limited — our website, our products, and any environment we run on your behalf. It forms part of our Terms of Service and of any services agreement we have signed with you.
It exists for a practical reason: our customers share infrastructure and a reputation. Conduct that puts either at risk affects people who have done nothing wrong.
What you must not do
Unlawful activity
- Anything that breaks the law in India or in the jurisdiction you operate from.
- Infringing someone else's copyright, trade marks, patents or trade secrets.
- Storing or transmitting material that is unlawful to possess or distribute.
- Fraud, money laundering, or evading sanctions and export controls.
Harm to people
- Harassment, threats, stalking, or inciting violence against anyone.
- Material that sexually exploits or endangers children — we report this to the authorities without notice and without exception.
- Publishing someone's personal data without a lawful basis, or doxxing.
Harm to systems
- Gaining or attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or network.
- Probing, scanning or testing the security of infrastructure you do not own, without written permission from us in advance.
- Introducing malware, ransomware, or any code designed to disrupt or damage.
- Denial-of-service activity, or load deliberately generated to degrade the service for others.
- Circumventing rate limits, quotas, authentication or billing controls.
Abuse of shared resources
- Consuming resources at a level that materially degrades service for other customers.
- Cryptocurrency mining, or using our compute for workloads unrelated to your use of our products.
- Using a hosted environment principally as file storage, a proxy, or a content distribution endpoint.
- Reselling or sublicensing access without a written agreement permitting it.
Messaging
- Sending unsolicited bulk email, SMS or WhatsApp messages from our systems.
- Sending to purchased, scraped or harvested contact lists.
- Forging headers, sender identity or routing information.
- Sending messages that do not offer a working way to opt out where the law requires one.
A CRM or marketing module makes bulk sending easy, and an imported list of contacts who never opted in is still an unlawful list. If you are unsure whether a campaign is compliant, ask us before you send it — not after the complaints arrive.
Your responsibilities
- Your users. You are responsible for what people do under accounts you control, including staff and contractors.
- Your credentials. Keep them confidential, do not share logins between people, and tell us promptly if you think an account has been compromised.
- Your data. Make sure you have the right to put it into our systems, and that doing so does not breach a duty you owe someone else.
- Your integrations. Anything you connect to our systems is your responsibility, including its security and its data handling.
Security research
We welcome good-faith reports of security problems. If you believe you have found a vulnerability, tell us at contact@iskeltechsolutions.com before you tell anyone else, and give us reasonable time to fix it.
Please do not access, modify or delete data belonging to anyone else, do not degrade the service while testing, and do not run automated scanning against production without our written agreement. We will not pursue action against research conducted on those terms.
How we enforce this
Where we can, we will contact you first and give you a chance to put it right. Where the activity is causing active harm — an ongoing attack, a live compromise, or material that is unlawful to host — we will act first and explain afterwards.
Depending on severity, we may:
- Ask you to stop, and set a deadline.
- Throttle or isolate the workload responsible.
- Remove or disable specific content or a specific account.
- Suspend the service.
- Terminate the agreement, in line with its own termination terms.
- Report the matter to the authorities, where the law requires it or the harm warrants it.
Suspension for a breach of this policy does not entitle you to a refund or a service credit for the period suspended.
Reporting abuse
If something hosted or sent by us breaches this policy, tell us at contact@iskeltechsolutions.com. Include what you saw, where, and when. We acknowledge reports within one business day and investigate promptly. Reports about content are handled in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it — see the grievance officer clause in our Terms of Service.
Changes
We will update this policy as new kinds of misuse appear. The date at the top of the page reflects the current version. Where a change materially narrows what is permitted, we will give reasonable notice to existing customers rather than relying on the date alone.
Questions about this policy?
